Lindy told Kyle that she had seen worse once she saw him as a beast. This novel is all about how Kyle finds love with a girl he would have never thought he could ever love, yet she is the only one who will love him as a beast. Throughout the whole novel, it was obvious that the theme was love is never ugly. Initially, the theme of this book was wonderful. This book was a little challenging to read because it was sometimes interrupted by chats between a doctor and some other beasts however, it was a great book from beginning to end. I love this book because of its theme, its characters, and its setting. She casted a spell on him that made him a beast he only had a year to find someone who would love him as a beast to break the spell. He was so conceited until he ran into some trouble with a witch that was in his English class. How would you feel if falling in love is the only thing that can turn you from a beast back to yourself? What if you only had a year to complete the task? That was exactly what Kyle Kingsbury had to do in Alex Flinn’s book, Beastly. And then, I’ll tell you how I became perfectly…BEASTLY. I’ll tell you how I used to be Kyle Kingsbury, the guy you wished you were, with money, perfect looks, and the perfect life. Why did she turn me into a beast who hides by day and prowls by night?
